VisafarCan I visit Taiwan with a US visa?
Yes, for nationals of 7 countries, including India: if your passport alone would need a visa, Taiwan lets you in with an eTA you apply for online for up to 30 days when you hold a US visa, Canadian visa, Japanese visa, Australian visa, South Korean visa, Schengen visa, UK visa, New Zealand visa, US Green Card, EU/EEA residence permit, UK residence permit or Canadian PR.
- Travel Authorization Certificate, applied for online, free of charge.
- The certificate is valid 90 days and allows multiple entries, 30 days per entry.
- The supporting visa or resident card may be currently valid, or expired less than 10 years before arrival.
- A supporting visa stamped VOID, CANCELLED or CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE does not qualify.
- Previous blue-collar workers in Taiwan are not eligible.
- A past ROC entry or resident visa from the last 10 years also qualifies.
