Armenia — visa-free with a US, EU or Gulf residence permit

Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a temporary scheme, from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027: nationals of 111 listed countries who hold a residence permit from the US, an EU or Schengen state, or a Gulf state, valid for at least 6 more months, can enter without a visa for up to 180 days a year. For 49 of those passports this replaces a visa requirement. Visafar stops showing the rule after 30 June 2027 unless it is extended.
