Who runs Visafar

Visafar is built and run by Sudharsan, an independent developer. It is not a visa agency and doesn't process applications.

Dozens of countries accept a US, UK, Schengen, Canadian or Japanese visa in place of their own, but the rules sit on government sites in many languages and change without notice. Visafar puts them in one place, for your passport.

How the rules are kept right

All 53 unlock rules have been checked line by line against their source, and 40 of them had an error we corrected. 24 cite the law or regulation they come from.

A daily job re-reads the official source pages it can reach and flags any change for a person to review; nothing changes on its own. Pages that block automated reading are re-checked by hand on a schedule. Every rule, the date it was last read and how it's watched are on the data status page, and every correction is logged in What changed.

How Visafar makes money

• Checking where you can go is free, with no account.
• Trip Pass and Pro add things that follow a trip for you: saved trips, reminders and rule-change emails. Unhappy within 14 days? Full refund.
• Some results show labelled partner offers, such as travel insurance. Visafar may earn a commission.

Money never changes a result, the order results appear in, or which official link you see.

Your data

The passport and documents you pick stay in your browser unless you choose to sign in or save them. Visafar doesn't sell or share your email, and never asks for a passport number or a scan. The details are in the privacy summary.
