Can Sri Lankan passport holders with a Schengen visa enter Egypt?
Yes. With a valid Schengen visa, Sri Lankan passport holders can enter Egypt with a visa on arrival (up to 30 days). On the passport alone they would need a visa.

Conditions
- Confirm with Egypt's authorities first: Egypt's official e-Visa portal does not describe this route, and no official text for it could be read.
- Requires a valid AND ALREADY USED visa from a Schengen state, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, the UK or the US, or a GCC residence permit.
- A GCC residence permit must be valid at least 6 months from arrival.
- Does NOT apply to maids, servants or workers.
- Not available to nationals who need Egypt's prior approval: Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Iran, Israel, Mali, Niger, Palestine, Sudan and Syria, or to travel-document holders (list confirmed on the Egyptian Embassy in Washington's official visa page).
- Confirmed return ticket and sufficient funds required. 30 days.
Also accepted instead of a Schengen visa: US visa, UK visa, Canadian visa, Japanese visa, Australian visa, GCC residence permit.
